The Breathworks Experience

The Breathworks Experience is an active connected body/breath technique that helps breakthrough any blocks you have that stand in your way of healing. It is a powerful healing method which offers you an experience of freedom and connection in your life. 

 

By the age of 5, most people have inhibited breathing. Every traumatic experience and negative thought we have had at a young age in our life inhibits our deep connection to our breath. 

Every time since birth, that we experienced times of conflict in our life where we felt unsafe, misunderstood, not worthy, not good enough, abandoned, hurt or unloved we held our breath. 

In that moment we locked that experience and emotion in our body creating a limiting belief about ourselves. We stored it as a subconscious wound, which our inner child holds onto, locking it in your body on a cellular and energetic level. 

 

As we move into adulthood most of us are living a life unaware that this is actually what is energetically drawing in our now experiences, in our life. Most of the time being revealed to us in current reality through our emotional reactions and reoccurring patterns which play out in our relationships to ourselves and others.

Through life we have ability to repeat or evolve from our current reality. But it’s an inside job. Its up to us to become self-responsible by going within, to heal the pain from the past that is now limiting our life. 

Through the breath we create a direct connection to open this unconscious reality. Creating an open gateway to your sub-conscious, revealing aspects of yourself ready to be healed and energetically transmuted.

What does a private Breathworks session involve?

The Breath I teach is heart-based, circular breathing. Although the breathing rhythm is very gentle, the session can be very powerful.


Through conscious connected breathing you accumulate life force which starts to move freely through your body (experienced as tingling, energy rushes or waves). This loosens up stored blockages held in your four-body energy system (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual), thus working on all four levels at the same time.

 

Experiences may vary every time. They range from physical sensations of pain or pleasure, to the release of body blockages and deep emotions. All of which we can dissolve to bring us back to a place of peace – even bliss.

Each breathing session is done laying down in a relaxed position.  A full session takes approx. two hours and includes:

+ 1:1 support from me

+ Time to learn the breathing technique

+ The opportunity to explore and set intentions for your Breathing session with me.

+  A full hour of guided breathing

+  Time to integrate and debrief the breathing experience with me afterwards.

Each Breathwork session is a step in the unfolding of the body memory and each person will find their own pace at which to work.

A commitment to a multiple sessions helps you to overcome resistance when uncomfortable feelings and experiences emerge from the subconscious. I can personalise a package for you to do multiple sessions of 3, 5 or 10 sessions this way we have the continuity to work on deeper issues.

WHAT CAN HAPPEN IN A SESSION?

 

Every session is different as Breathwork is an organic, self-generated process. You can have a physical, emotional, mental and/or spiritual experience during their session (usually a combination of a few of these).
Experiences can include:

Physical
changes of temperature (feeling hot or cold) tightness, tingling, cramping, numbness

Emotional
release/awareness of sadness, anger, fear and/or joy.

Mental
memories of past events, relationships, early childhood and even birth and conception, awareness of patterns, conditioning, limiting decisions and beliefs, and the ability to clear these thoughts over time.

Spiritual
memories of past lifetimes, deep relaxation and a sense of bliss, connection to self/spirit/universe, experiences of meditation.

 

DOES IT ALWAYS WORK?

 

This is an ancient technique of breathing and there are thousands of clients testimonials that confirm this powerful process does work for them. Breathwork is a powerful process for easing or alleviating emotional pain and gaining insight into why we behave and react in certain ways.

Some sessions can be quite subtle and inner while others can be cathartic and releasing. As the process works on a number of levels results will be seen and felt on different levels and different for each person. Some sessions are very clear in their outcome while in others may feel and experience the results over a period of time in their lives.

At times it may feel like nothing is happening – nothing is never happening and the session is always a reflection of what is happening in the your life. Fear, resistance and holding on may arise for some  – by working with these feelings and sensations it is addressing these issues in life.
